How about the hundreds of thousands of pajeets that have migrated to Texas on H-1Bs and Abbott has done absolutely nothing about?

His actual quote was, “Here in America, Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”

However, in a 2016 speech, he stated that “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding”.

What can he do? He's not going to run those corporations out of the state. Sorry if you aren't smart enough to code or run data manipulations like Power BI.

Funny how going after the Barbary pirates is weaving Islam into the fabric of our country.

Obama said,
Here in America, Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding. Generations of Muslim immigrants came here and went to work as farmers and merchants and factory workers, helped to lay railroads and build up America. The first Islamic center in New York City was founded in the 1890s. America’s first mosque [founded in 1929] — this was an interesting fact — was in North Dakota.

Of course, both these events occurred long after our country’s founding; in 1776, in fact, 1890 was the year of the 11th U.S. census, which led to official recognition that there was no longer even a Western frontier in the nation. And there were no sheikhs or mullahs at the Constitutional Convention more than a century before.

The reason people don't know this is because the documents were hidden in the basement.

I don’t know about all of that. What I do know is the Alamo is not in Austin. Back in 1981 LSU basketball was on their way to the final 4 and played in a regional that was in Austin. A couple buddies and I decided we wanted to go and left the next day. While we were in Austin we decided we wanted to go see the Alamo. We stopped and asked someone where it was located and they said it was in San Antonio. We just laughed because partied from the time we left BR until we got back so there was a reason we weren’t thinking straight. I miss the days when I could pickup and go somewhere on the spur of the moment but you eventually had to grow up and be part of society. I was working at a bullshite job making minimum wage and wasn’t worried that I would get fired for not showing up. There were jobs everywhere that were paying minimum wage.
