Eating dinner alone

I feel like a loser. Going alone . Wife’s flight home didn't get back tonight so I’m headed to dinner solo.
I guess I’ll just have couple old-fashioneds and enjoy the solitude.

Nothing wrong with eating alone
It’s nice to have some time to yourself every once in awhile
You can always sit at the bar & have a drink while you order food to go

I literally had dinner alone this evening. Just went to downtown and sat on the patio with a chicken finger platter and enjoyed not having to talk to anyone.

Feel blessed .. for every day.
Lost my wife of 34 years a little over 7 months ago .. eating alone is the norm here now, but should be the least of your worries.
