Any word on Iran giving up the enriched uranium?

Regime not changed, Strait open (as was the case before this)…what will become of the uranium?
BTW, I’m very happy tonight that cooler heads prevailed. If we can achieve the stated objectives of regime change, liberation and capturing the enriched uranium that led to this mess, I’ll admit I was wrong all along. Otherwise, what was all this for.

One of Iran’s 10 points we accepted as a workable framework is “full acceptance of enrichment.”
So at this point Iran believes that they can continue towards a nuclear weapon. Not sure what we actually got out of this especially if the hormuz is now tolled

We need to know the terms of the deal before acknowledging this as a mission success.
If Iran gets permanent control of the straight, as they requested in their ten point proposal that we are negotiating from, then they become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. That would not be a win… it would be utter humiliation.
If Iran gives up their uranium and fricks right off back to twiddle in their desert alone, then this will be the single most successful US military operation since WW2.
Any outcome between those two extremes are still possible, depending on the results of the peace negotiations. Until those are concluded, everyone needs to stop proclaiming certain victories or humiliating defeats. Everyone is just guessing. The next two weeks are when the winner of the war will be decided.
