I Havent had or taken the time to read about it. How would the world look at this point? Would they have stayed in and only dominated Asia? Would a Japanese ruled Asia be worse than modern day China?

The Japanese were a brutally cruel culture. We can't even imagine...

quote:

The Japanese massacre of Chinese most commonly refers to the Nanjing Massacre (also known as the Rape of Nanjing or Rape of Nanking), one of the most notorious atrocities of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945). This occurred after Imperial Japanese Army forces captured Nanjing, then the capital of the Republic of China, on December 13, 1937.

en.wikipedia.org

What HappenedFollowing a brutal campaign that included the Battle of Shanghai, Japanese troops entered Nanjing and unleashed six weeks (roughly December 1937 to late January/early February 1938) of widespread violence against Chinese civilians, disarmed soldiers (POWs), and noncombatants. Eyewitness accounts from foreign observers (including missionaries, journalists, and diplomats in the International Safety Zone), Japanese soldiers' diaries, and survivor testimonies describe:Mass killings: Soldiers conducted systematic executions, often by machine gun, bayonet, beheading, burning, drowning, or burial alive. Chinese POWs were rounded up and shot or bayoneted in groups. Civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, were targeted indiscriminately. Entire families were slaughtered, and bodies were dumped in the Yangtze River or mass graves.
Rape and sexual violence: Tens of thousands of women and girls (estimates commonly range from 20,000 to 80,000) were raped, often gang-raped, tortured, and murdered afterward. Victims included young girls and elderly women; many were killed by bayonet or other means post-assault.
Looting, arson, and destruction: Japanese forces looted homes and businesses, set fires that destroyed about one-third of the city, and engaged in random acts of violence.

The atrocities built on earlier violence during the Japanese advance from Shanghai, including "killing contests" (soldiers competing to kill the most people with swords) and village massacres

Their movie industry would not have done well. Those Godzilla movies were inspired by America's King Kong movies.

I doubt they would be cowed by kook leftist women and they don't have enough black people to generate a high crime rate.

Battles are won before they are fought. WWII ended up about as well for Japan as it possibly could have. They were goaded by FDR into a war they could not win.

The more interesting question is what would have happened if Japan had double teamed the USSR.

If Japan won WW2 then that would mean the other Axis powers probably won also. It would not have taken long before Japan and Germany would have went to war with each other.

Europe would be a lot better off today if Germany had won, that’s for damn sure. Most of the states the Nazis occupied welcomed and cheered German reunification. The decision of Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill to hand over Eastern Europe to the Soviets has caused irreparable damage.

That's a rough if not crazy what if. All the Japanese could hope for is that the attack on Pearl was enough to keep the American Navy out of the war long enough for the Japanese to secure the oil in Indonesia to an extent that they would have hegemony in East Asia.

Yamamoto and his planners were under no illusions of what attacking the United States could mean

They knew immediately that not destroying the dry docks and the oil storage areas was a huge mistake.
