That Homer by Curiel is why Tennessee leads the SEC in HR most years

That's caught in front of the warning track in the box...

Georgia has a shite field too..

Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina have embarrassingly small parks

Any other park Derek would put that in the gap. That moment that field he was hitting to go yard.

Their park is a joke in RF but it gets too much hate on this board because it is still 350 down the line in LF which is a legit bomb
Tennessee is a joke the whole way around

It looked eerily similar to the grand slam Todd Walker hit against the Aggies in the 1993 CWS.

I thought it was a pop fly but then I remembered it’s Tennessees ball park.

Watching it live, it's hard to believe that went yard. Small park for sure. Great win for our Tigers.

how hard was it hit? trackman not a thing in hitlers Germany?

Didn’t Vandy turn theirs into a little league field as well?
All I know is if college baseball had a HR derby like the MLB does, they would definitely have it at Tennessee’s stadium every year.

The launch angle off the bat going for a HR was hilarious

What are you talking about? Where did that come from?
Field size
Left Field: 320 ft (98 m)
Left-Center Field: 385 ft (117 m)
Center Field: 390 ft (120 m)
Right-Center Field: 365 ft (111 m)
Right Field: 320 ft (98 m)
On top of that they play at about 900’ above sea level also helps it fly a little further.

He's talking about Foley Field in Athens, GA homie

Serious question bc I don’t know the answer and I realize things can be deceiving on camera but when they say a HR went 401 ft is that just based off trackman exit velocity and launch angle and not taking into account wind? It’s hard to imagine that HR that Chapman hit went 401. On TV it looked like it didn’t get over the fence by much more than the 365 that was painted on the wall. That ball looked like it would have been caught at Alex Box and at best off the wall.

Yea that wasnt 400 feet. No where close to it

yeah, temporarily.
they building something beyond RF, so during construction they moved the fences in and are allegedly moving them back after all the construction is done.
