On the contrary! Most of us hate this vile shite with a passion. Do not forget that Texas are the (un)lucky inheritors of a bunch of Demoncrats fleeing from a misery of their own making from California, New York, et al. and we are also the lucky recipients of a lot of tech companies which have so embraced the H1B Visa program that the DFW area has I believe the largest concentration of southern Indians in the world outside of India itself.

And then there's all the illegals from the southern border that Texas has been trying to combat (even against the Biden administration's wishes if you weren't aware) for a long time.

We get it from all three angles.
