Alright you bunch of hoes, we are long over due for another tournament around here. It's only fitting to do it during March Madness. Even though it's not my favorite genre, this is a board favorite... BEST HORROR MOVIE OF ALL TIME.

For the newbs to the M/TV Board (and those on the west coast), I'll go over some rules of the tournament.

Please read:

This is the nomination round. **nominate your favorite horror movies (as many as you want) EVEN IF THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN NOMINATED BY SOMEONE ELSE**. This will determine the seeding. The more nominations a movie gets, the higher the seeding it will get. MOVIE, not TV.

When you nominate, there is no need to rank them, just simply list your favorites.

Not sure if this will stretch out to a 64 movie tournament or maybe need to cut it to 32, that will be determined on how many nominees/votes come in.

Alright, let the voting begin!

Past tournament winners:

Sexiest Actress x 3 - Beckinsale, Daddario, and Connelly
Greatest animated movie - The Lion King
Best TV Show - *I had serious health issues pop up right as the final four came out and didn't post for almost a year, sorry. Final four was Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, Cheers, and The Wire.
Best Sports Movie - Rocky
Best Action Movie - Die Hard
Most Hated Movie Character - Commodus

]I can't believe we're doing this before the romantic comedy one.

I think the results of the previous tournaments wouldn't change much, but I'd wager you could run this one 3 years across a decade and get different answers.

I'm not much of a Horror guy, but I will offer the few I like.

Alien
Aliens (I think this one is more action than horror)
Event Horizon
Jaws
Happy Death Day
Scream
Shining
The Mist
The Thing
Cabin in the Woods
10 Cloverfield Lane
The Invitation (the one with the cult)
28 Days Later

Like I said not sure if it does.

It is classified as horror on rotten tomatoes
But it certainly isn't Halloween or Nightmare on Elm Street horror.

I can't participate. I will rage too much if the clear winner (TCM) doesn't win

Black comedy/horror comedy.

There's a fine line between the two, like thriller and some horror (Silence of the Lambs, Seven, etc.)

Well you and Godfather both better participate because you two are two of the biggest horro guys on here and i would have done Rom Coms if it wasn't for a few of yall

And as little of horror that I have watched, I still will be rioting and campaigning for TCM all tournament. I am going to be ready to meet at Sonic over the few I've seen.

Ok, well in my head, I had those type ruled out. I love both of those movies, but I was thinking we'd go a little more true horror, with things like Alien being the fringe stuff.

But I'm certainly open to whatever the board likes. I would be adding Silence of the Lambs and Seven to my list if we think we need to let in those type of movies.
