Just saw where Letlow had endorsed and campaigned for DEI back in 2020.

" In a 2020 video from Letlow's hiring process, when interviewing to be the president of the University of Louisiana Monroe, Letlow called the school’s record on faculty gender diversity "shameful," praised DEI efforts around the country, said she wanted to open the school's first DEI division and suggested that, if hired, she would want "a person around the table that is cognizant and fighting for diversity, equity and inclusion before any decision is made for the university."

And even being from out of state, I understand yall's frustrations with Cassidy. Tough choice for sure, but I think I'd go with ditching Cassidy if I had a dog in the fight.

We get to decide between an establishment creep who voted to impeach Trump, and a DEI cheerleader.

Can Landry fix this too? He kind of has the hot hand lately.

I look forward to her explaining this in a debate.

Prior to Congress she supported it in colleges. Since Congress she has been consistent in pushing back on it (sponsored the Parents Bill of Rights Act, voted to overturn Biden's attempted Title IX changes for trannies, voted for the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act).

It's a flip-flop in a positive direction, but a flip-flop nonetheless.

Tell me about it! I'm still pi$$ed that only 30% of Republican and conservative Virginians voted in the last election. That small turnout put the Democrats in control of the Virginia trifecta. Yes, we deserve what we got and will be getting with the blonde headed, carpet bagger, "Gestapo Spamburger". I'm in a deep red part of the state, but that's small consolation considering the Dems now have complete control here.

Yeah, it sucks. But what most likely happens is people wanted a career and went along with it. Just like many folks took a vaccine for their job. They fell in line.

I did the same thing when it came to my grades. Just nod your head and shut up for a semester.

After reading the threads here, it looks like yall have a third choice in Fleming. Does he stand a chance of winning?

Have you ever seen a lizard on a brick wall and then jump on a plant and change its colors? That is a politician. Back in 2020, anybody trying to get a college admin job had to kneel to DEI. What is her true feelings... who the hell knows but since she has been a toe the line Republican since being elected to Congressional office.

She has won every election in her district by majority in the primary and has never had to go to the general election.

Cassidy is throwing more money on negative advertising on her than on supporting himself. Bottom line Cassidy voted to impeach Trump when he did not have to. Letlow floating DEI in a job interview during the Biden admin when LA had a Dem governor, so what.

He was in the Trump admin first time around but I dont know why but he does not have the momentum of support that the two incumbents have.

Buddy, if you live in Virginia, I don't think I would be telling other states about their tough choices.

I'll vote for Flemming and he will disappoint us like they all do.

What are Fleming's stances on some of these issues both federally and for LA?

Not much different than in the 1991 Governors race, having to choose between Edwin Edwards, a man who was indicted in the 80's on federal corruption and racketeering charges and later convicted on those same charges, or David Duke, a Grand Wizard of the KKK.

I'm gonna make a prediction. If Letlow wins by a close margin she will think: "OMG, Donald Trump put me over the top. I'll do whatever the hell he tells me to do."
She's seen what happens with other republican politicians who double crossed Trump (like Cassidy).
