Trump Now Has An Abysmal 36% Approval Rating

The Iran war is probably responsible. Not only do Americans dislike it—only 28% of them support the war, while 59% oppose it—but it has driven the price of oil up. That will make both manufacturing and transport more expensive, with knock-on impacts on the price of goods. And inflation is the issue which voters care about more than any other. The effects are already visible: the average price for petrol is more than $4 a gallon.

Nobody's ever asked me or anyone in our house.

The economy isn't good and he went and did the stupidest thing he could have possibly done. He's earned worse, in my opinion.

That's still higher than Kamala even had at the Democrat convention

Well... "Petrol in the UK is significantly more expensive than gas in the USA, often costing roughly twice as much due to higher taxes and import reliance."
So... they can suck it.

Still voting for him over Kamala.

There was a time when I would see "The Economist" and immediately give it bigtime credibility.
Had a subscription for years. Loved to save a couple of issues for long flights over the Pacific. Particularly liked the Lexington column.
Ever since they made Beddoes the EIC in 2015, it has been just one more clickbait tabloid. That idiot ruined a great magazine. Picked up a copy a few weeks ago to see if it was still shite. It is, and it annoys the crap out of me.

Who cares what his approval rating is? It's not like he's going to run for office again
