If Bailey falls to 6 The Saints should move up 2 spots.

Give Cleveland next year's 3rd and swap firsts this year. Bailey is too good of a prospect to miss out on with his speed and quickness off the edge. Elite edge defenders and Qbs are the only 2 positions, IMO, you trade up for.

i wonder if there's a world that bailey or reese or styles make it to 8. Reese's proday wasn't overly impressive especially from an edge rush dimension.

To further add in no particular draft order needed to go top 7:

1. Mendoza
2. Love
3. OL1
4. Bain
5. DB 1 or WR 1

That leaves Reese/Bailey/Styles getting to an 8 spot.

Reese and Styles are probably gone with the teams in front of us. If someone unexpectedly takes another qb its a possibility. Bailey is probably gone too but he could be there at 6.

4. Bain

I'm hoping they take Bain over Bailey but his arm length seems to be a major concern at the next level.

Honestly don’t want to trade up. Just stay at 8 and pick the best guy on your board.

And I know we say this every year but I wouldn’t even mind trading back this year.

Too many good players to move up unless we have someone so far above the others still available. I don't see Bailey as someone they will see far above other options there, but we'll see.

Moving up would be incredibly stupid given our current situation.

The two things the Saints have done barely anything for or have barely said anything about are WR and Star Defender. I feel like the board is perfectly falling for us to get Downs or any 3 of the top WRs. Teams tend to reach for edge and OTs come draft time. I expect Downs or Tate to be the pick.

-Styles
-Reese
-Downs
- Tate
In that order imo.

There is so much value at WR in the second round that I gotta think they go with Downs, who is probably the best player in the draft, at 8 and take a stud WR at 42

I wouldn’t hate it. If Bell falls to us at 42, I’d be happy. It’s looking like he might be climbing the board here lately though.

if none of the key defenders are available, I agree. I do NOT want a WR at 8.

But Bain is sooo intelligent. Go watch some of his film against the run and sealing the edge. Even against Indiana, he did an incredible job of recognizing, diagnosing and collapsing his side.

He’s not elite! Just bc he’s highly rated in this class doesn’t mean he’s elite. He doesn’t and cannot play the run.

frick NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

Stay where you are at #8.

Pick the best player available that fits a need.

No trading up. Stop giving away draft capital when you need all the new blood you can get as we REBUILD.

Bunch of drunken sailors on this site ...... just giving shite away.

Bain?

He can for sure stop the run.
