Markets are trying to rally.
I can’t see the strait being closed for too much longer if Trump essentially concedes.
I’m almost proud of him.

Hey, people are against the war.

Gotta put an end to it, right?

At this point I get it, but not sure Iran is just going to stop attacking because we said so.

Obviously the right thing to do is finish.

But its not on Trump if he is forced to quit before the job is done.

I think I’d rather lose more money than to see the libs celebrating all over social media.

Plus it gives me cheaper buys. I enjoy the dips looking at the long term goal.

Trump miscalculated that Iran would be as easy as Venezuela, assuming to take out the leader and the regime will fall. Iran is a whole different ball game.

This would be absolutely embarrassing and a soft as baby shite move by DJT

Such a move would give the Iranian regime a massive long term leverage over a key economic geographic point.

It makes no sense to not address that problem

The Iranian Leadership is willing to live in rubble with limited resources and no money coming in. They are like Hezbollah in regards to their desire for terrorism. They will never negotiate a peace agreement.

I guess if they start the nuclear weapons development again in years to come, we will send a fresh batch of tomahawks and B-2 bombers.

That's very noble of you, my friend.

If your money and your ego were the only two things at stake here.

I'd suggest that the Iranian leaders thought of that while attempting to negotiate for the last year. I'm guessing they plan to inflict enough pain to the region to dissuade that from happening again soon. Just my guess.

Unfortunately, Trump is only one of the three parties that gets a say as to when this over.

But he'd be a good start.

If not Trump, who's fault is it? Can't throw this one on Congress.

If the strait remains closed even after peace, the global supply shock persists despite lower geopolitical risk. Equity markets may initially rise on reduced military threats, but oil supply stays constrained, keeping prices high.

A diplomatic resolution implies $98 oil for three months, but realistically, $115 oil is likely if allies can't reopen the strait without US support. Investors are pricing out escalation risks, but high energy costs will hurt Q2 2026 earnings across sectors.

Trump's estimate of a 4–6 week strait reopening is key, but lack of enforcement means closure could last through Q3 2026.

Float that trial balloon and let’s see the affected countries pucker their assholes and start ringing Trump’s phone. Gotta love it!

Surely you don't think money should be the top priority for everyone? What good is having money if your country is taken over by a terrorist jihadis?
