But damnit the man can coach. Team down by 20 and he kept them engaged enough to believe they could come back and then to do it. frick I hate him but I respect the hustle

They had no business winning that game and he absolutely willed them to victory.

same...

he's a hot headed douchebag that seems like one of those that likes to run their mouth but can't back it up, but he's a damn good coach

He manages to be an a-hole and a weirdo at the same time.

He has a radical fanaticism for the Bengals even though he has zero connections to the Cincinnati area. He’s said in interviews that he goes to Bengals games every year with his family. How many CBB head coaches do you think are actually going to NFL games in cities they have zero ties or connections to?

The Karaban three will get overshadowed by the ending, but that was a massive bucket.

The same number of touchdowns Nick Saban scored at Alabama.

Coaches job is to get the team to play to their full potential and put them in the best positions to be successful.

I kinda like him. Old school hardass that wins. I mean their dad used to drop them off in the hood to play and pick them back up at dark. Him and Bobby are the real deal.

If he had elite talent he’d never lose. Just look at his back to back title teams.

This team doesn’t have much talent but they are a grindy team.

I expect them to possibly beat Illinois but lose handily to Arizona or Michigan. He’s gotten the most out of this group he just needs to bring in the studs.

If Flagg had went to UConn (which was his 2nd choice) he could have had a 3 peat

Youre probably right but it also would not shock me at all to see them win it all. He's just that good of a coach. I watched several of their games this year and they weren't that impressive tbh, yet they maintained a 2 seed and here we are.

Illinois is actually a slight favorite on Saturday, which I don't really understand. I agree with you that I could see Mich/Ariz beat eat other's brains out and Dan Hurley take the trophy home.

Aren't the matchups Illinois/Arizona and UConn/Michigan?

Edit: I'm wrong

UConn runs the best actions in college basketball.

I dont mind Hurley's antics. I enjoy having villains in sports.

That damn play at the end today was a classic. It’s right up there with Laetner’s shot against Kentucky. We’ll be seeing that finish 30-40 years from now.
