Are they really just snake oil salesmen?

If you listen to Jordan Petersen, he never really says anything. But his voice makes it sound like he’s really smart so you keep waiting for some substance. But there never is any. He just talks in random meandering ways. So of course he’s a snake oil salesman.

It's like listening to a musical piece that never resolves except it isn't in any way enjoyable.

He tends to go down every possible rabbit hole. Having said that he’s spot on biblical principles being the key to the west’s success. Even though he’s probably agnostic he understands the wisdom in the Bible.

A 42 year old friend of my son-in-law just died of sepsis. The Sacred Heart 6th grader passed from it just a month or two ago. Is this happening more frequently all of a sudden?

Jordan Peterson isn’t a wellness expert at all. He does the carnivore diet thing but usually qualifies it that it works for him but he hates it and doesn’t recommend it.

He's what people are now calling a "cultural" Christian. They don't have the religious beliefs of a Christian but acknowledge and live by Christian values. Some years back Richard Dawkins of all people said in an interview or on social media or whatever that he considered himself a "cultural" Christians.

Sepsis is more common than most people realize. It's something like the third leading cause of death .

What does this even mean? They don't have to go to church to be reminded to be a decent person? Cause that's probably where I'm at.

Basically they don’t necessarily believe in God but they believe the moral values taught by Christianity are good and necessary for a successful civilized society

Well, he definitely understands the absolute necessity for boys being taught how to be men and that the male place in society absolutely needs to be protected and cultivated

that comes from Gods design for the family
He fully understands that simple truth

It's incredibly funny how easily people take the values we live life by for granted in the 21st century. The Greco-Roman historian Tom Holland has an excellent book out called Dominion that talks about how Christianity completely changed western morality over the last 2,000 years. Such ideals as don't commit r*pe, that we just take as obvious in 2026, did not exist in the first century. Roman citizens were allowed to force themselves on their wives without penalty.
