It’s apparent WW is coming back. She was told funds were likely redirected from women’s to men’s basketball. KM probably didn’t like it and said I’m out / retire

That would not surprise me. In an imperfect world of scarce resources, I want LSU football, baseball, and men's basketball to succeed, and if it means women's basketball has to take a step back, so be it.

I dont believe this and women’s basketball doesn’t cost that much on the grand scheme of things.

Yes. And their coaching budget and travel budget are higher than baseball's despite having a quarter of the student-athletes.

I love Kim Mulkey, there are so many things about her that are amazing and many could learn a ton from her. That said, success for Women’s basketball should not include a net loss for LSU to the tune of millions of dollars, which I believe it is. For this reason, I would think it prudent to move some funds to a sport that could achieve a financial gain.

Unless you’re going to drop the program, you are going to pay that much regardless who the coach is. I was referring to NIL funds. NIL wise it’s not that expensive

Ya'll sound dumb again, WBB gave LSU life. What Kim did in her limited time at LSU has been far greater than anything MBB have done in the school history. She brought LSU their first basketball championship, you should show more respect. I know ya'll hate women, and it shows with these pathetic comments.

I appreciate Kim and enjoy the women's game but football, men's basketball, and baseball should be what LSU is investing in.
