Not gonna lie, I cannot remember ever in my life hearing about a Midterm Convention.

This sounds like desperation. And it's unnecessary, because they would avoid feeling the need to do it if they'd just quit bopping their bishops and actually pass the SAVE Act.

GOP has become so out of touch with the common man it's unbelievable.

RNC has gone to sheet w/o Lara Trump running the show.

If they are hosting in, Dallas, then they are very worried about losing Congressional and Senate seats in Texas.

SAVE Act is not being passed because thune and the eGOP don't want to win. They actually prefer to be the minority party. The dems will do all the things that the eGOP support, but the dGOP will be able to whine, bitch, gripe, fund raise and get re-elected...

Probably, but Hulk Hogan has already communicated that he can't make it.

They’ve done zero in 14 months to excite their base. The midterms are on them.

I think any concern in Texas about Talarico is probably overblown.....unless Paxton gets the nomination, but even then I don't see him (Paxton) losing.

That's always the case with Trump. People complain about turnout and republican apathy, but then they also complain when Trump does something to invigorate the red voting base.

It's also weird how they complain about our corrupt system but then also complain when Trump does something different than the norm.

Yes, I'm aware. I've been posting this fact for years.

They're controlled opposition and nothing more. Getting killed with downvotes for speaking the truth, but that's pretty common here.

Yes. The conservative base is fed up because enough of us finally see that these GOPe stooges do literally nothing to help their base when they actually hold the power.

It's more like "damned if we do, damned if we don't". We can refuse to show up to vote for the same RINO stooges that are the only options given to us, lose the House and possibly Senate, and watch the Liberal agenda continue to be passed... or we can show up to enthusiastically vote for the same RINO stooges that are the only options given to us, so they can remain in control and do nothing while we watch the Liberal agenda still continue to be passed.

Those are our options and it's disheartening. SAVE could prevent this. And they have absolutely no viable reason why they can't pass SAVE right now. They have plenty of excuses, but not one single reason. Using Occam's Razor, the simplest answer is that they just don't want the status quo to change and they 100% prefer the current corrupt system.
