Hubert Davis has achieved more success in his short head coaching career than Will Wade. He played for a national title in 2022.

Hubert is not a good coach. Besides the 3 week miracle run to the natty in 2022 his teams are consistently less than the sum of their parts. Even the 2022 team had tons of talent and was an 8 seed. Then he missed the tournament the next year after being preseason #1.
Now add the fact that he’s only done a mediocre job recruiting at a blue blood. He wouldn’t be able to even sniff big-time talent at LSU.
It would be Johnny Jones with worse recruiting.

I mean, you did refer to LSU's coach as McNutz. If Hubert Davis was starting to struggle at NC with their basketball resources, coaching at LSU would be significantly more difficult for him.
