Nuss/ Klubnik are top end QB's. Give them to the end of the '25 college season and you'll see.

Since they are picking 8th, do you think using next year's 1st and this year's 2nd will get the team high enough to grab him?

Nuss has arm talent but can’t read a defense in-play and has trouble getting off his first read. It’s been apparent since his first year starting at LSU. He missed open receivers all the time.
I’ll be rooting for him but he is going to get exposed in the NFL and I’d imagine his career is short.

Yea no one ever gets better over time. Especially when getting nfl coaching.

Wasn't he graded as a late second early third? Just curious.

He's been at LSU 5 years and still throws off his back foot regularly

Daddy Nussmeier is a good coordinator and you don't want to mess the staff up. And you can't have "his kid" competing for a spot, or it could wreck the locker room. Garrett would have to be a potential #1 overall pick to consider that, and I still think you don't do it.

Have another downvote, you fricking trolling idiot. Its embarrassing you are a LSU fan

LSU’s offense was a mess last year. And it was apparent he was playing hurt from the first game.
He’s shorter than I thought for a qb. He should probably go in the 4th round but will go before then. I wouldn’t mind him on the team if we got him in that round but he will go before then. And there’s no point since we have Rattler as a backup.

You should pump the brakes a little bit. I do think both of these could be solid NFL QBs, but claiming top end is a bit extreme.
Regarding the Saints: you don't draft a QB to be the backup to a 2nd year starter. You need veterans behind that young QB, not a rook

Looks like your Nuss Bus just hit a wall with the Saints signing Zach Wilson
