Not today it wasn't. TSA Pre had to go in same line as everyone else. Clear had their own line which was also several hours per posters in the other thread

I have a flight next month and did pre check because of the issues. I did precheck through Clear and they offered Clear+ as a trial for 3 months free. I don’t fly often, but after the trip and trial I will cancel it. I don’t fly often enough for 209 a year. Precheck is 80 dollars for 5 years through Clear and I got my number in less than 48 hours and it was a weekend. Some promos get you Clear+ and refund of your PreCheck fee.
Also, one other good thing is that my flights are in the evening instead of in the morning. The mornings are the worst at MSY especially on Sunday and Monday. My flights is a Thursday night.
Clear+ on top of the annual fee has some more addons on per trip basis that gets you in front of the line even faster than regular Clear+ but they start at 99 dollars a trip and is only available at certain airports. MSY isn’t one though.
I wonder if the travel woes are starting to affect the travel industry. I noticed a change in pricing for my car rental. I booked it a few weeks ago and I checked today and the price was about a third less. So I cancelled the previous booking and booked it again. Luckily, I did not have to prepay and deal with a refund. Or it could be just optimum time to book.

So you think a dewpoint of 97° can happen in natural conditions? That’s what you’re suggesting when you say 100% humidity at 97°. Never understood why people exaggerate the summertime weather.
