..and it still wouldn't tally up to a trillion dollars.

The USA is currently at 39 Trillion in debt.. and our amazing government has already added 2 trillion to that sum this year alone..

It’s a self perpetuating disaster that can’t be stopped until it implodes.

If you allow people who don’t pay taxes to vote they will always vote to take more from people who do pay taxes. The politicians will give it to them because it’s how they get elected.

There is no end in sight until the whole system collapses. Modern monetary theory which says you can keep printing as much money as you want is all a bullshite scam.

You do understand it is Democrat spending and policies that created the debt we are in…. Correct?

Medicare. Medicaid. Social security. Welfare programs. Subsidies.

Emotional downvotes don’t change hard facts

Yet how many times have the "conservative" Republicans had to undo the legislation that has spiraled us into crippling debt? Every elected official is a willing participant in our bankruptcy at this point.

Trump pissed me off to no end when he caved to the Covidians five years ago. That is when my support for him dwindled to almost nothing.

With that, Trump has been in DC a total of 6 years. The majority of what he wanted to pass has been blocked by the Uniparty. Trump was also impeached when he showed the public one of MANY Uniparty grift/laundering operations in the Ukraine.

Trump has 6 years of being used vs 250+ combined years of the Uniparty apparatus currently occupying DC.

Look at the wealth they all garner, many within just one or two years of being placed. Your ire is not directed in the right place, but then again, TDS is a powerful drug in your cult.

This is the key. Regardless of affiliation, both sides only care about themselves and neither gives a single frick about Joe Citizen.

You can try to vote for the lesser of the evils (which is basically what voting has become), but all in all it won't change much for you personally. That's why this shite is always headed in a singular direction, and that direction does not benefit any of us common folk.

Bingo. Your latest and greatest example was just two months ago when the Somalian Terrorist in MN was busted (again) for massive fraud. While the governor sent his minions to attack the ICE agents as a distraction, REPUBLICANS in DC "quietly" made moves to make sure Ohmar and Waltz would not only not be investigated further, but also not punished. Why? Because they are getting some of this money too.

Remember, Bill Cassady voted to impeach Trump after the Ukraine grift was uncovered. Why? BC Cassidy was getting paid via one of the many grifts running through that same operation ON TOP of his pharmaceutical payoffs.

The Uniparty gets rich while many of us send 40% of every dollar we make to some form of tax. If we don't pay more every April, we get sent to jail.

The problem is the voter is not viewed as the chief constituent. If you look at the history of the term and how it was used, its morphed from the implication that "we the people" were the constituents of our elected official. Today, when someone refers to a constituent, they are more than likely referring to a PAC, lobby or donor that has bought their vote. Without real election reform we will not have a truly free society with a government of people elected by the people ever again.

fricking so many taxes.

State income tax
Federal income tax
Property tax
Sales tax on damn near everything you buy
Capital gains tax if you make a little money on something

When you break it down it’s a lot more than what you pay in income tax.

I made this argument on this board and the tard board a while back and was immediately told by the Moderates that what I was saying was a lie, or I had a bad accountant. LOLOL

No, MFers, I get taxed state/local every 2 weeks. Then all the taxes you listed below, as well as other taxes that anyone that makes a decent living has to pay. It is right at 40% of every dollar I earn. Then in April, I may get back $500, while people who pay NOTHING get a "tax credit".

Then I get to watch non US citizens get free everything, while other foreigners get elected to DC and grift us openly for millions. It is disgusting, but I am told I am "in a cult" if I don't like it.

Another one that recently pissed me off. Traded in a truck I PAID OFF in 2017. Paid thousands in taxes when I bought the truck. I traded it in....and have to pay taxes toward that (dealer covered) but still. Had I sold the truck I would have had to pay more taxes than the trade in. So I get taxed twice on an item I paid for.

The national debt is a pointless measure. Who cares what it is? It’s not like anyone can do anything to demand payment?

Ain’t social security the biggest expense? Just cut it and call it a loss. Old people should have saved 401k and pensions and not solely rely on govt handouts right?

So what eventually happens? Hyper-inflation? A complete collapse and reset?

I can imagine how society would react to a Great Depression or worse again.

This guy gets it.

They can’t even pass a budget, much less be bothered by the debt.

Wife and I have been straight W2 for years and we owe every year. On top of that you have social security tax and Medicare.

I’m hoping this new tax bill will help me out so I don’t have to cut a check next month.
