Yes MM is still the coach, but it is speculated that LSU will make a push to hire Wade

It appears MM will remain the coach if Wade says No

Conventional wisdom would tell you yes given the absolutely pathetic record and all time high apathy levels for the program.

However, this is LSU where the athletic department are run by bureaucrats instead of people with sports knowledge. These same bureaucrats could not care less about the fans but still want (and expect) you to continue forking over money to support this crap product. They insult your intelligence daily and take great pleasure in doing so.

It’s probably more likely McMahon returns which is rather
mind blowing when you think about it. But again this scenario can happen at only one place: LSU. Total “Whose Line is it Anyway?” - where the rules are made up and the points (& records) don’t matter.

See you in the PMorgue next season! (This is just a hypothetical statement. I’m not foolish enough to believe McMahon will ever put out a winning product.)

Dunking on people being hopeful for the return of the best coach in recent lsu basketball history because the worst coach in lsu men’s major sports history is still the coach isn’t the flex you think it is

It blows my mind that coaches contracts don’t have minimum requirements to get your buyout other than don’t be a POS. When your career is measured in W/L and you can lose every game and still get paid.

Why would he? He’s still under contract

South Carolina and Oklahoma both issued statements of commitment for next year for Lamont Paris & Porter Moser respectively.

Those are two coaches who are better than McMahon (who isn’t) that were facing possible firings this year.

Based on the record for the last two years, I'd say no

That is one of the worst sentences I have ever read. I think I might agree with the sentiment, but I'm not sure you know how to read.

I’d rather fire CMM and proceed without a coaching staff than allow him to coach another season.

Supply and demand.

It's a pretty basic concept.

They used to be year to year contracts years ago. A lot changed when the sport started making boatloads of cash

Didn't Saban become the first $1m coach after he won the title in 03? If he wasn't first he was damn close to it. People lost their minds over that.

Now we have position coaches making that much
