Having a senior official in the administration say this publicly is a good start. This needs to be the standard view of any government official in a western liberal democracy.

It’s hard to believe we have turned the Senate into a gotdamn nursing home. The real shame is all of,these folks were alive and in their 30s or 40s during the Iranian Revolution of 79. They all know to well how that regime has taken American lives and been a constant problem in the region. Yet Warner wants to call this a war of choice. They have been at war with us for almost 50 years.

Tulsi's military background helped her to be an anomaly even when she was a Democrat. Basically,
1) She knows who the "Bad Guys" are to a degree that very few non-military women can understand.
2) Like any good soldier, she despises war. That's the reason why Tulsi wouldn't endorse Hildabeast in 2016, which led to the witch Clinton falsely calling her a Russian asset, and which ultimately led to Tulsi being placed on the Terrorist Watch List as soon as the Dems took back the White House. (Kamala hated Tulsi, too, because Tulsi had absolutely annihilated her in one or two debates in the 2020 Democrat primary - in which, brain-dead Kamala had to drop out in 2019, not even making it to the Iowa caucus).

When US Senators were selected by their respective state house bodies, they answered to their state. Now, because they are elected by the people of their state in a general election, they answer to the people funding their election.

That ended with the Iranians boasting to American negotiators that they could build 11 nuclear bombs any time they wished, leading directly to the devastation of the current war.
The rules-based world order is one of the many fantasies bestowed by Obama on an undeserving humanity.
There were no rules in the system — certainly no rules Obama heeded as president. He bombed Libya for seven months, assassinated hundreds of putative terrorists around the world, and turned Syria over to the tender mercies of Vladimir Putin and ISIS.
Nor was there order in the system — savage conflicts erupted during its tenure in Ukraine (twice), Sudan (multiple times), Georgia, Gaza, Congo, etc.
