Almost all destroyed by record low temperatures.

Global warming strikes again.

Records have been broken all across the state. In Shreveport, the low temp dipped to 27 degrees. That ties the record of 27 set back in 1892. That's a long time ago.

Got two houses.

I’ll give you a $10 OTer discount though.

I made that mistake last year. Didn't let it happen again.

Unsure your geography but it is common knowledge around NE GA to not plant until tax day due to what you’re talking about.

Wait til you see fertilizer prices

also, colder weather coming further south is a product of a weaker jet stream and disrupted polar vortex. I'm sure you knew that though.

My grandpappy used to always say to wait until Good Friday/Easter weekend. Always assumed it was some folklore his grandpappy told him but its served me well.

I waited for this reason. I still have some plants struggling from the snow 2 years ago.

Unless it’s cold hardy, we don’t plant here until after Derby Day (1st Saturday in May).

And next week will be crazy hot in much of the Country.

I covered my Spring garden the last two days and will try to keep it from roasting the next week

Urea, the nitrogen fertilizer imported most by the U.S., previously cost between $460 to $480 per short ton the last week of February, before the conflict started on Feb. 28. That high-low spread rose to $520 to $620 the first week of March

I heard the azaleas were in full bloom all around Shreveport on Sunday. This morning they are all wilted.

We’ve always thought that when the “coons” are still sitting on buckets while on the bank fishing, the ground is still too cold. When they move to sit on the ground, is the perfect time to plant…

Maybe you should check the ten day forecast.

If you are in certain areas of the south, you cannot wait that long.

Tomatoes are probably the worst at this. Too early they freeze, too late they don’t produce enough because once you start having 90 degree days, good bye productivity from your plants.
