Does it irritate you when people let their phone text messages ding incessantly?

This annoys the ever-living shite out of me.
When ever I get consecutive text messages, I make it a habit to silence further notifications.
Apparently, some others feel no such compulsion.

Not as much as answering on speakerphone.

This is why I am not a fan of group texts so often. But nothing comes close to the notification sounds full blast on older people's phones

when in staccato
Not as bad as some ringtones.

Not as much as someone who has their ringtone on blast and after two rings, gets it out of their pocket and stares intently at the screen for 3 or 4 more rings, before finally not answering.

Spends on how constant.
Answering on speaker phone or FaceTime will make me instantly pissed

Yes, and the ones who have the clicks turned on while typing walls of texts in a quiet room.

It’s the same people that leave 2 seconds on the microwave. Narcissists.
Part of being a narcissist is thinking you are the sun and everyone else revolves around you like the planets.

Have you ever had a close relative have a medical emergency where they needed you immediately?

My phone rings but no text or email or any other type of notification dings. And if you call my phone you should be on the approved short list or it better ne an emergency

Not really.
1. I'm not around a lot of people and
2. my hearing is awful, and
3. for others, my ringtone/text notifications go through my hearing aids.

People should just get a smart watch. I barely touch my phone on a daily basis for like 5 years now.

I don’t hear good so worry about other things. Sometimes I look and have a metric boatload of texts. Wonder how many people I’ve pissed off with not being able to hear much. It would explain a lot. ??

They should call 911. Not like I have any medical skills.
