The first nationwide blackout in 2 weeks doesn't sound like it's soemthing unprecedented.

Hopefully we can help make Cuba not.a shithole again.

Why would it be white mans fault?

There are white men everywhere that had nothing to do with it

The embargo on Cuba is something we all pretty much grew up with.

Does anyone truly have some vengeance against them still or is it just habit at this point?

Not sure I care one way or the other if we keep punishing them for shite back in the 60s

From Venezuela more likely.

It sucks for the average person living there. I hope things get resolved there soon.

Hypothetically speaking, what would happen if a stray drone hit Miguel Díaz-Canel's palace at the same time a boat load of weapons and food ran aground on the beaches near Havana?

Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I mean, it was a directly intended side effect of removing Maduro.

Yes, it's not so much Cuba itself, but their close allegiance with Russia. Bay of Pigs could happen again.

I want to move to Cuba. Internet is slower and not always accessible there so they have more of a pre internet social life.

The only reason they are close with Russia is due to America blocking them.

Wait, so it's now our fault Castro was a communist? I don't remember it that way, odd.

So we are fine with dictatorships and working with other communist countries but not Cuba.

Yes we were when the Cold War was active. As for today ask Maduro how that worked out.
