Should KC implement a two QB system approach now that they have acquired Justin Fields?

Should be a good way to galvanize the offense.
Mahomes is a strong passer but adding Fields would be a great dual threat option. Also, this would be a good way to keep the offense unpredictable.

Yes absolutely. Mahomes is a shell, they should line them both up in the shotgun and alternate who the Center snaps it to

If you have two qbs, then you have no qbs.

You came in too hot on this. Dial it a down a bit.

Yes. Patrick Mahomes should lose snaps to Justin Fields. I’m sure that’s what the chiefs have in mind. Definitely not just wanted a back up because of mahomes injury

Mahomes is 30 years old & has won 3 super bowls

And a decent chance Mahomes doesn't start week 1 and may be eased back into action.

Not falling for this troll

They should cut Pat now that they have Fields. It's time to move on and turn the page.

No. Fields is the replacement for Gardner Minshew - a decent backup with starting experience that can hopefully keep them competitive while Mahomes is sidelined.

How so? Oh Mahomes is in, they might run with a designed run? And vice versa as Fields is much more noted for being a rusher than a passer.
Unless you're arguing for a skilled player to be sidelined for two actual QBs playing at the same time . . .

Mahomes should start and play the first and third quarters.
Fields should get the second and fourth.
Signed,
The rest of the AFC

Fun fact.
Joe Montana was 31 years old with 2 SB MVPs when the 49ers traded for Steve Young, who in his previous two seasons went 3-16 as a starter, throwing 11 TD passes vs. 21 INTs.
In 1987, Young's first season as a 49er, he threw 10 TD passes vs. 0 INTs.
Now...I am in no way comparing Justin Fields to Steve Young, and Montana was coming off a major back surgery during that time the 49ers were looking at Young.
But Andy Reid sure does appear to have a knack for coaching QBs and getting the most out of them, and Fields, while 2-7 as a starter for the Jets last season, did throw 7 TD passes vs. 1 INT. Maybe as a backup behind Mahomes and with Reid as his coach, Fields will have an opportunity to grow and learn and possibly get another chance as a starter one day in the league.

This is why I stopped with these boards.
You KNOW the answer to this and it’s not even a discussion, yet, you post this dumb shite anyway.

Find somewhere in my post where I said anything about Justin Fields being elite. I looked myself, but damn...I must keep missing it.
