Why are people incapable of holding a fricking phone steadily without all the clumsy fumbling noises.
Sure hope that dudes hands are steadier when he wipes his arse.

This may be the only planet in the universe else that protects its life from a solar maelstrom.

One of the coolest parts of living in Alaska in the 80s as a teenager was sitting on the hood of my buddy’s El Camino listening to Pink Floyd’s The Wall, smoking a big bowl of Matanuska Thunderfrick, and watching the Northern Lights.

Nope. I saw it like that once upon a time at 3:30 in the morning in Hatcher Pass. Wild shite and mind blowing to see that in person.

Obviously we're the only planet we know of with life, but planets with magnetic fields is incredibly common.
Just in our solar system:
quote:
In our solar system, Mercury, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all have intrinsic magnetic fields generated by internal processes, known as dynamo action. Jupiter and the other gas giants possess the strongest fields, while Mercury and Earth have relatively weaker ones.
