Not looking like a host site if we make post season at all.
Terrible plate discipline. Bad body language. Pitch can’t find the strike zone. Too many errors.
Overall Just LAZY.

This is not your typical LSU team. These transfers aren’t cutting it.

Easy. Better players. Serious lack of talent.

Jay whiffed on all of his plug and play position players this year IMO. I haven’t seen the promise jay told us about in any of Dardar/carraway/yorke and we haven’t seen Simpson that much. They’re all below average. Literally, with stats to back it up. Yeah Yorke draws walks and dardar sometimes too. But we need run on the scoreboard and none of those guys are really doing it.

Only pitching, hitting, and fielding

Throw strikes/cut the walks down big time and stop spiking pitches left and right.. catchers deserve some blame not blocking some balls, but the guys on the mound are making it a rough night for them every game.

Got to start with the basics
Throwing strikes
Catching the ball
Hard contact
This team needed 3 more weeks of non-con games lol

Throw strikes
Simple as that. The whole game changes when you’re consistently off the plate like we are
Crazy thing is, I still believe we can turn it around. Hopefully the team still feels the same

The jerseys have to be fixed!
They need different names on them.
Start with Skenes, Eyanson, Anderson….
The throw in a few different names like Morgan for 1B, etc…..

It's talent. These transfers from the smaller colleges are just not cutting it. Best conference the nation. The evaluations of these players failed for now. This is JJs worse team of the four years. No chemistry, or just plane complacency. High expectations, number 1, you still have to play the game. LSU better right the ship or they will be out of post season play.

Step 1- the starting pitching needs to get its command down. Step 2- batters need to care about each at bat and stop swinging at shite. Step 3- stop the past balls and wild pitches. I don’t really know how you fix the bullpen, but putting them in with nice cushions would be a good start.

quote:This can’t be fixed, obviously. Stanfield, Milam, Brown, and Curiel in order will produce runs. Arrambide will get hot at some point. Dardar needs to be more consistent, and he’s got potential.
Different players.
Then you’ve got Yorke, Carraway, and DH (Braun or Simpson). May not win you games, but if they can understand their role they can be serviceable at the plate. See Milazzo in ‘23.
I’m not worried about the starting pitching. Yeskie will need to earn his paycheck this season with the relievers. Not out of the question.
This is shaping up to be another 2024. Start out awful in SEC play, but not giving up hope that they turn the corner at some point and get hot down the stretch. None of this will happen without better fielding.

Quit walking people and quit striking out too much. That's a start

You know there's a problem when you have trouble even beating Junior College's.
* West Southwest Louisiana JC at Lake Charles.
* Southwest Louisiana JC at Lafayette.
* North Central California JC at Sacramento.
LSU is now a Women's Basketball and Gymnastics school.
It's been a great year for all of the mediocrity loving "Dual Biological Anatomy" freaks on here. They get to cheer on and support lots of athletic dysfunction at the University of LSU aka LSU University. Cheer on freaks, cheer on.
