They are playing on a baseball diamond with no dirt. Just turf. Do they not slide? That looks like it could be painful.

Wild combo. So baseball meets ballet? Sounds terrible. I don’t get the appeal. These fans must also be the pineapples on pizza folks

It’s the Harlem globetrotters for baseball. Most every player is a former minor leaguer at least, some even spent some time in the bigs so there’s actual baseball skill in addition to the circus theatrics. Their games are a good time, there’s actual competition going on albeit with different rules from a regular baseball game.

What in the wild world of sports is going on? Is there no dirt in baseball anymore? What are you supposed to rub on your injuries??

They used to be able to configure the dome for real baseball dimensions but not since the renovation. Looks like they had a really short porch in left that wouldn’t work for a real baseball game, not sure what the dimensions were.

Went tonight. Extremely impressed. It’s a great show in person. The pace, the entertainment between innings, the music. Plus they are actually trying to beat each other. 81 year old dude came up and they were throwing heat at the poor guy

Astros played the Twins about 50 years ago. A few years after that, the Orioles and Yankees played there.

It really is. Not only on the field but how they keep the crowd in it. Catch a foul ball in the stands? Out.

When we went to see them at Truist last year, the Mannannas grabbed my buddy and had him as part of a three man dance off during pregame.
