It’s kind of understood IMO that it’s 126 games (played) in a row since it’s an individual stat.

You wouldn’t do everyone’s PPG at the end of the season divided by 82 games just because the team played 82 games.

SGA has a countless number of games where he never even played the 4th quarter. And still had 20+.

The telling thing to me is how many NBA vets, a large number of whom are legends, absolutely gush about SGA and his game.

Yet some Reddit/X keyboard warriors decide to discredit his game because he’ll draw maybe a couple of questionable foul calls a game.

I’m sure y’all are the authority on basketball though. And definitely not retarded.

Because it is a scoring stat going directly off of games played. The games not played are irrelevant, because they didn't play.

The streak for the most amount of games played consecutively is a completely different streak, and the points scored per game has no bearing on that record.
