The President: America benefits when oil prices increase

President Donald Trump said that America benefits when oil prices increase because the nation is the world's biggest oil producer, but added that he considers blocking Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons to be more important.
"The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money," the president said in a Thursday Truth Social post.
"BUT, of far greater interest and importance to me, as President, is stoping an evil Empire, Iran, from having Nuclear Weapons, and destroying the Middle East and, indeed, the World. I won’t ever let that happen! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he added.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News on Thursday that the administration "is considering waiving the Jones Act for a limited period of time to ensure vital energy products and agricultural necessities are flowing freely to U.S. ports."
The Iranian regime has threatened increased oil prices as the regime targets commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
"Get ready for oil to be $200 a barrel, because the oil price depends on regional security, which you have destabilised," Iranian military command spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaqari warned in comments directed toward Washington, Reuters reported.

He uses the collective noun "we." I ain't making shite if gas prices are high. I love it when people who haven't gassed up their own car or stepped foot in a grocery store in decades tell me how to feel about the price of things. Joe was good about it, too. Didn't he have that ridiculous 4th cookout or Thanksgiving dinner meme? Those chodes in DC are so detached from reality.

Funny because just recently he was bragging about low prices and saying how much that helps the country. People believe anything that man says even when he contradicts himself from one day to another.

Then on top of this he’s tapping into reserves

The 85 dollars I just spent at the pump disagrees

Remember this board when Biden tapped into the reserves?
Trump campaigned to release the Epstein files and “drain the swamp”, half of the files get released (mostly redacted), trumps name is all over them, Trump says they’re nbd and they’re not releasing the rest, then starts a war with Iran a week later and has to tap into the strategic petroleum reserves bc Iran has closed down 20% of the world oil supply through the strait of Hormuz. Wonder what happens next

It’s time for another cognitive test for him.

I like how last weekend we were bragging about cutting off China's oil supply and this week they are jacking up US consumer prices by buying American crude out from under US refiners.
Wait until there are no refined products for US consumers to buy. They will save so much on their gas spending.

And I think people are still waiting for the wall he promised he would start building the day he got into office.. in his first term.
I am not saying this to say the other side is better, its not, but Trump has always been a con man. He knows how to make people around him feel good. There is a lot of value in that. First, they are going to talk you up no matter what. If someone makes you feel good and you think that person is in your corner and you could call them up if you need something, you will never say a bad thing about that person.
And I am sure he is a fun dude to watch football or UFC fights... And boxing.. He is a huge boxing fan, you look up don king right now and you will see a bunch of pictures with him decked out in Trump shirts, hats, etc and I appreciate a man who enjoys sports.. But president.. You need some boring dude in his 50s or 60s who takes his job really serious running the country.
