The war is no longer about oil. It is about physics. And physics does not negotiate.

Iran’s response calculus just changed. Before Parchin, the war was about sovereignty, oil, and regional power. After Parchin, the war is about whether Iran still possesses the capability to develop a nuclear weapon. A regime under existential bombardment that believes its nuclear option has been destroyed has two choices: surrender or accelerate. The intelligence community assesses the regime is not collapsing. The Mosaic Doctrine’s 31 commands continue operating. Continuous strikes have been announced. If the regime concludes that its nuclear hedge has been removed by the Parchin strike, the incentive to reconstitute covertly at undeclared sites becomes the single most dangerous variable in international security.

Will Trump say we obliterated Iran's nuclear program?

I'm pretty sure that "Iranian Nuclear Scientist" has officially become the most dangerous job on the planet. Right behind "Iranian Supreme Leader"

Hopefully.

But after further analysis we did not....keep going back until we do.

The MOAB is an air burst weapon (massive ordinance, air burst). That facility pictured looks to have been struck with GPB's, which is what you would use for wrecking an underground facility.

How can you obliterate what was already obliterated?

"It was the greatest obliteration of all obliterations. People say it was like no other obliteration of an obliterated obliteration ever carried out. Like nothing they could imagine. It was a masterful obliteration of an obliteration."

But, but Trump tore up the JCPOA! Not to mention the audit subject getting the auditor to change findings.

JCPOA took effect in 2016

Or just end the regime so we don’t have to keep going back

I get that, in your mind, the word "Nuclear" is a complicated thing so imagining that Nuclear is a descriptor for multiple things can be a little daunting - so ill clarify

In 2025 we bombed:

1. Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant

2. Natanz Nuclear Facility

3. Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center

Discussed here is the bombing of Taleghan-2 (A Nuclear Weapons Facility) - which was described in the link as follows:

quote:

The IAEA’s November 2011 report identified the site as the location of hydrodynamic experiments consistent with nuclear weapon development, specifically high-explosive testing for implosion-type nuclear initiators, the component that compresses fissile material to achieve critical mass.

Do people think that Hegseth et al are incompetent? This isn't meant to be a gotcha. Serious question.

We did.
Why do you ask?

Not at all. But the goal needs to be regime change. Otherwise all we’re doing is wasting all our ammo. We’ll have to spend billions to restock our missiles and bombs just come do it all over again in a few years.

Well the reason why I was asking is because they say that is one of the goals. They don't say how they plan to achieve that, but it is one of their objectives. I'm curious how they'll get it done, but I tend to think they will indeed get it done.

Theyre justifying this war in March by saying Iran was "two weeks away" from a nuclear weapon. A quick rebuild from June. Thought they were completely destroyed?

What will be Iran's timeline the next time we need to drop bombs?

President Trump: “Monumental Damage was done to all Nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images.
Obliteration is an accurate term! The white structure shown is deeply imbedded into the rock, with even its roof well below ground level, and completely shielded from flame. The biggest damage took place far below ground level. Bullseye!!!”

"Tonight I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran the bully of the Middle East must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier."

Israel Atomic Energy Commission: “The devastating US strike on Fordo destroyed the site’s critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility inoperable. We assess that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran’s military nuclear program, has set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years. The achievement can continue indefinitely if Iran does not get access to nuclear material.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio: “The Iranian program — the nuclear program — today looks nothing like it did just a week ago … That story is a false story and it’s one that really shouldn’t be re-reported because it doesn’t accurately reflect what’s happening.”

They will get their hands on nukes through their European takeover much faster than developing one themselves. Those are the weapons we should be keeping an eye on.
