What an outing so far!

Better than his last outing but he’s still pitching to the equivalent of a BR HS All Star team, at best. Moment of truth comes this weekend.

LSU has been losing to such competition.

So he's an All-star pitcher.... better than the ones that pitched before him tonight.

Garcia was really good in the Cape this summer. I thought he'd carve out a role as one of our best stoppers on the team this year, or a closer at least.
He needs more innings.

What were his stats last outing?

This outing will get him (Santiago) more action.

The competition isnt a factor. 94 from the left side when he can throw it for a strike with the curve moving like it does is enough reason to want to see more

And mostly by melting and walking guys. Sac St didn’t run up huge hit numbers at all. They took walks we gave them and then cashed in two big HRs to cement their leads.
It was good to see Garcia go out there and throw fricking strikes to seal the deal. When you throw balls and don’t have control, you can lose to ANYONE.

He’s found it tonight.

But he's throwing strikes. That's what I'm happy to see

You mean this weekend against a team that is struggling as bad as LSU has been against these same BR HS all star teams? Ok.

Did he put a new roof on the dugout?

So you are saying the people freaking out about team ERA after first couple weeks may have jumped the gun? Back when team ERA sat at 6, Garcia was at an 80 ERA.
