New “scandal” just dropped: military budget included lobster for deployed troops, Ds upset

We can debate military spending, but I personally don’t think it’s a scandal that troops overseas were given steak and lobster a few times last year. Earlier today, it was released that the military spent money on crab, steak. Dems thought it was going exclusively to Hegseth, but reporters corrected the record and confirmed it was spent on providing Us troops surf and turf once every month

Before D-Day and other major battles wasn’t it common practice to give those guys steak and eggs? They always fed them well I thought if they were going to see combat or stationed in a shitty place like the Middle East where combat can literally kick off anytime.
