Leave those guys alone and feed them fillet is what I say. They are doing the country a service by giving up time with family and putting their lives on hold to go to whatever shithole the government can find to send them. At least we as taxpayers can do is make sure these folks eat better than we do.

The scandal here is this administration is doing nothing to control government spending and DOGE is a fraud. DOD could have just not spent this money, reduced its budget to what it needs and saved the tax payer money. A self doge if you will.
Instead, DOGE end real civilian jobs and other DOD programs only for that money to be spent in a last month spending cannon.
