Those stickers were always pretty stupid in my opinion. Presidents don't have an economy good lever and gas prices low button.
Trump has his hands on this one a bit more directly than normal but if he gets what he wants then Iran will no longer be sanctioned from the world market and prices will stabilize globally.

He should have saved this war until March of 2027, after the election. There was no urgent need to take this action now.
It's going to provide Democrats an endless supply of issues to draw their campaign around.
Higher gas prices is just one of those issues and they will not resolve before the election because the outcome in Iran will not be resolved before the election.
