The amazing thing is that she practically did get everything she could have ever wanted. She just overplayed her hand.
She could have been the cool celebrity socialite hanging around with royalty and other famous people. She just had to stay a little quieter about every little stupid thing she might have thought (about the other celebs and royals). Driving a public wedge with the other royal family members was just incredibly short sighted.

I've never seen a manufactured celebrity push fail quite as hard as the Meghan and Harry shite did. Absolutely everyone on all sides of the cultural divide seemed to hate their guts.

I would love to see Netflix make my idea for a film where Harry was instead gay and married a white man equally morally appalling as Meghan and they excused it for the sake of diversity and tolerance just to see Meghan lose her shite over it.
