Per a biz friend whose son is in mgmt for Triad they are handling the work for the new 800,000 sq ft chip manufacturing plant in Houston.

People don't realize that H1Bs have a salary floor of 64k a year, so they'll replace a citizen that makes 200k with two 64k idiots, and shite takes twice as long.

It is a Baton Rouge based AMERICAN company big in the I&E contracting in chemical plants and refineries. One thing Louisiana is good at is top process controls contracting. These companies built Silicon Valley factories

Texas is headed the way of the UK. Good luck dealing with a bunch of low iq Muslims who will actually use the guns they have unlike the native Texans that will just make threats on the internet to use theirs while sitting on their couch in the ac with a refrigerator full of sugary sodas and processed foods with diabetes and other prescription medications strewn across their kitchen countertop.

Just completely oblivious to how and why something like immigration has a secondary consequences beyond what immediately shows up on a profit/loss/margin spreadsheet.
So many boomers just see the immediate gains that impact them, and don’t understand or don’t care about the generational affects down the road
