Please, trade Zion Williamson

How many times do we have to sit and watch this player make turnovers over and over at crunch time? The Pelicans play better as a team without him on the floor. Trade Williamson, and never look back. Get whatever you can.

ESPN has him responsible for only 2 turnovers last night. I don’t understand how as it seems like there were 10 times when he was stripped making the same exact move in the same exact spot. It was the definition of insanity and infuriating to watch.

Fears, Trey, and Murray all had more turnovers than Zion. Should all three of them be traded as well? Stop being so emotionally weak

2 is not possible unless they are counting some of those strips as blocks.

If we don’t try to blow it up this summer and let the young guys play heavy minutes next season and build through the draft then this franchise is cooked

I give Z some credit. I think he's legit worked on his fitness this year and has stayed in shape and not dragged out injuries. I also think he's genuinely ok playing with the Pels.
The problem is on the floor. He's not a reliable closer because his offensive repertoire is too limited. His ball handling is too loose under pressure. His decision making is erratic. He doesn't have enough variety in his attack to defeat double teams or make teams pay for doubling him.
He's a good, not great, offensive player. He doesn't rebound. His assist to turnover ratio is mediocre. Not a plus defender,
That doesn't add up to a $40 million+ franchise guy. It just doesn't...

Well he had like 125 million reasons to put in some minimal effort here. He's still not in good shape, and he still rarely ever sprints.
He actually sprinted one time last night when he got the ball in transition and Reaves thought about taking a charge and then decided no thanks. Zion on that play was unstoppable. So ridiculously fast to the rim. It's frustrating see that b/c he could do this 10 times a game and no one could stop him. I don't think he's done that 10 times in his career.

That's b/c he has no ambition to win anything.

It sure doesn't.

We screwed up not getting off his contract by any means necessary.

At least we didn’t trade him for Scoot Henderson like a bunch of you wanted to do back in that’s draft.

Honestly we’d be in the same place. Zion is nothing but empty calorie stats. Nothing he does contributes to winning. We’ve won 19 games with him pretty healthy this year. We’d have what? 14 wins with scoot?

We need to cut bait after this year. I don’t believe in Queen and Fears as franchise cornerstones but at least give them a chance to prove it. Playing them limited minutes off the bench so Zion and Dejounte Murray can lead us to 20 wins next year sure as shite isn’t good for our future

Zion won't suck your dick bro, your act of defending his lazy in every thread is hella tiring.
He may eat it though if you dip it in some frosting.

The issue here is that it doesn’t matter. 10 turnovers, 75… who cares? The team management doesn’t care to improve so why should we stiffen our upper lips?

I’m sure they will work on something

How bout just trade his arse just because!!! This team would be way better without him

Somehow we’re back to almost 40% wanting to not trade Zion.
This board is absolutely insane.
