The United States and Israel are seeking to foment an armed uprising inside Iran using a Kurdish fighting force, which has been built up since the Twelve-Day War in 2025, according to ITV News. Sources claim that since last year, weapons have been smuggled into Western Iran to arm thousands of Kurdish volunteers. They are expected to begin a ground operation within days, with possible air cover by the U.S. and Israeli Air Force.
Seems like a good idea

Along with hundreds of Green Berets and nice helping of conventional troops to back them up if they get in a bind.

Before we say that, can we get an idea of what they're getting in order to do this?
And, before we provide them with anything, can we put Apple tags in them so we can track where they go after the Kurds sell them off?

This 100%. otherwise, they are unlikely to be better trained than remaining IRGC

Yeah, good question, see, you're smart and can handle things, not like they say.

Unless they struck a deal with Erdrogen, Turkey is likely not going to be happy. The last thing they want is armed Kurds building a state on their border.

How many times have we armed an insurgent group in the Middle East to take out another and it not worked out how we planned?

They have the largest standing army in the West Asia, are a NATO member, and border Iran. In addition, the regime in Syria is largely a Turkish puppet. They could certainly cause some problems.

It’s gone tits up for the Kurds every single time, too.

Just another reason to dissolve NATO

Yep. The Turks always play both sides and try to get something in exchange for staying out of every conflict.

Such plans have never failed before. A perfect success rate.

Yep starting a civil war in Iran sounds like a great idea.

The enemy of my enemy is my ally until he’s not. If he doesn’t recognize what we just did, then take a number, and have a seat.

They won't need hundreds of Green Berets. They need a couple of A teams and a CCT attached to them. Maybe one company of 5th SFG?
