Wouldn't the local power structure be religious but jobs?

Even those fricking women here wear them, pretty sure it’s more then men in their lives making them than it is the supreme leader

Iran doesn’t have a capitalist economy. They have something more akin to a Communist command economy where the main sectors are controlled by the IRGC, who are also effectively the bodyguards for the religious priest class. Going against the religion meant being excluded from the economy if not being put in jail. However, youth unemployment is so high in this generation that they have nothing left to lose.

All depends on who takes over.
Very possible a more conservative mooslim takes over and starts chopping heads off these girls poisoned with "western" influences.

I would expect it to be an older and very open-minded woman in Iran right now who would take off their hijab - those brought up in that tradition may be very reluctant to do so. And the older ones are aware of the past 'consequences' - takes a brave woman to do that.
More power to them - praying for their success.

Hijabs are not really compulsory anymore. After the masha amini protests, those laws stopped being enforced for the most part

Women using veils voluntarily is perfectly fine.
Strictly enforced veiling through violence is the issue.
The middle ground gets tricky, as social coercion can be quite repressive in itself, but removing the violent enforcement is a low bar than can be accomplished.

Christianity is Iran is rapidly spreading and is drastically under reported. Hopefully enough of the power structure in Iran is eliminated.

Something similar going on right here in the US.
We have a crony corporatocracy masquerading as "capitalism" where the main sectors are heavily influenced by the Central Bank (Federal Reserve) and our three-letter agencies serve as th personal protectors for the bankers and politicians that keep feeding the system our taxpayer dollars.
