Anyone have any suggestions for something to mix with coke or in an old fashioned?

Yes, water aged in charred oak barrels.

The only that I know of are the Kentucky 74 brand. No clue how they taste, however.

Come on guys, sometimes people with alcohol problems want something to drink.

There any many good non-alcoholic beers, quite a few decent non-alcoholic wines. I’ve not yet tasted a good non-alcoholic liquor, including any non-alcoholic whiskey.
The main problem is that alcohol is of course a flavor carrier. That can be addressed by using other flavor carriers, but for something like bourbon especially, it’s difficult to replicate. The second problem is that alcohol of course has that burn. To replicate that, the makers of non-alcoholic liquors use capsaicin, which gives those drinks a slight pepper flavor, which doesn’t quite work.

Heating up a few shots of regular bourbon to about 200 degrees in a wide, shallow pan for a 5-10 minutes should boil off the alcohol. To ensure most of the alcohol is boiled off, hover a match or lighter over it. Use proper ppe and good ventilation if warranted.

Drink some unsweet tea or cold brew, I dont know about adding coke or making an old fashioned with it but it should work.
