This story is nuts. This guy, Igor Komarov, the son of a Ukrainian crime boss, was kidnapped in Bali 2 weeks ago by some people who said his dad stole a ton of money from them.
They broke his legs, cut off his fingers, and tortured the hell out of him and made him film a bunch of hostage videos disclosing how his family’s business scams people.
Anywho, he’s dead now. Dad didn’t pay the ransom. Crazy stuff.

Matteo Messina Denaro was the boss of Sicily for decades until he turned himself in a couple years ago, and died.
He once kidnapped the son of an associate and held the kid for 2 years in a barn or some shite, torturing him for two years and eventually strangling him. All because he believed that the kids father would rat on him.

Definitely not a scam. There are many videos. And they found the dude's body
TLDR: son ran a fraud scam call center. Girlfriend was dumb enough to post everywhere they went on Instagram while they were in Bali. Son got whacked.

Worse than a mafia boss. You should be embarrassed to say your dad was a congressman. Especially if he was a Democrat. There’s something inherently wrong with you if you are a politician. You’re phony, plastic, narcissistic and almost without exception, crooked. Not to mention owned by your big donors. There’s not a genuine bone in anybody who is a congressman. But you probably already knew that about your dad. And don’t say he was one of the good ones. Because there aren’t any.
