Unreal. McConell, Tillis, and Murkowsi are horrible.

Considering voting integrity has incredible bipartisan support of over 83%, it is stunning that it can't get enough Senators from both parties to put their names on it vs. getting Coryned in their future elections.

If they don't pass it through Congress Trump will do it unilaterally.

It's never gonna happen.

GOP doesn't have enough power to pass it and send it to POTUS.

The GOP doesn't mind it if the Dems cheat in elections and illegal aliens vote.

I dont think it's dead yet. If Fetterman is a yes, that's 50, depending on if Collins switches to a no or not

It was never alive. This is all for show. The old asses in Congress are terrible and don't represent the people

He doesn't have that authority. Courts and blue states will shoot down and ignore his EO.
He has leverage with Congress. He can go scorched earth on the Senate at any time.

Trump could leverage AIPAC for this but he won't do it.

I think it's quite telling that Trump didn't follow up his demands for the SAVE Act with any real action and is already talking about an EO, that he knows will be ignored and shut down.

It's Charlie Brown and the football, all day, every day with Republicans. Even Trump.

We need 60 votes. Thune has roughly 50, depending on Dems that have not publicly stated a position.

Two things will happen; vote to put Dems on record, or 2. 60 votes to pass.

Oh, I think we are going to find out exactly how much authority he actually has.

Trump doesn’t even actually care about it that much. Sure he will issue an EO but if this was a big deal to him he would be putting the screws to Thune.

Wrong.

Thune needs 50 votes to pass the bill. He has those. He also needs 50 votes to agree to forcing it to the floor as a talking filibuster using some old rule from the earlier 1900s. Currently he only has 49 votes for that.

If you are a Panican - Yes, it's real dead.

If you have Common Sense.... you know that eventually it will happen. I don't understand why you people always underestimate Donald Trump on everything. Will it happen today? Probably not.. will it happen tomorrow? probably not.. will it happen between now and the mid-terms in 8 months? ABSOLUTELY.

Right. When you are completely thumbing your noses at the desires of 83% of the populace, it’s not “weakness” it’s utter disdain.
