Seriously? They already did this in 1985.

The 1985 movie is a seemingly forgotten classic. I haven't seen it on any cable channel in decades. I don't think they could ever outdo that.

The 1985 film invented the post-credits plot twist.

It seem’s this ties into the ‘Ritchie Sherlock’ universe, but could be wrong. Regardless I enjoy most things Sherlock so I’m all in.

It was also the first movie with a CGI character - the Glass Knight.

I have more faith in Ritchie doing this than others. The trailer looks pretty promising. I loved Young Sherlock Holmes growing up.

Yea I never see it streaming. I watched it with my kids a while back and they loved it. I think I rented it from prime.

Guy Ritchie did Young Sherlock instead of giving us a third Sherlock Holmes movie? What a huge disappointment. Really enjoyed those two films.

It’s available on Hoopla (a streaming service where you “rent” movies for free using your public library card).

Looks like most don't realize a third one is moving forward with Dexter Fletcher directing, not Ritchie.

Yep. It explained so many unanswered questions about Sherlock Holmes. We see how he met Watson, where he got the famous hat and pipe, why he never married, the origin of Moriatry, etc. Top notch acting by the young stars and a great post-credit plot twist.
