Is it really a taking point if it’s true?

Trying to keep in place the redactions over their names in the Epstein files?

Just spitballing. Carry on.

considering he was once anti-Trump, Beck has come quite a ways and I applaud him for admitting he was wrong

Always fun hearing what you've been thinking/saying but in a totally new and interesting way. I thought that was well said by GB.

Even the most ardent supporters of free trade can see in certain circumstances that it’s not always black and white.

The egos on most of these talking heads are usually way too big to admit it when they F up so I agree.

Anyone who says they haven’t had cause in their life to reevaluate past positions is a liar or a moron.

I really can not stand Erick Ericson. He seems so phony.

There was nothing in that clip that the pro-tarrif side hasn't been saying since "liberation day." He didn't change his mind because he found some new way of thinking about tariffs. I'm not sure what his motivation is for changing his mind, but it definitely wasn't anything that he talked about in that clip.

I’m being open minded so I listened to it.

At 7:20 he says “You use tariffs strategically, not universally”

The execution by the admin was not great. The rollout was universal and not strategic.

Having Canada working against us with regard to China instead of with us isn’t great.

The historical review seemed enlightening to him.

Or maybe he heard it in a way and from someone he trusts.

I watched that earlier. It is very interesting. Is what he said accurate? If it is I wonder if this was fully implemented would it be effective in today's world market?

He's claims to be an amateur historian and has written a few books on American history. So, I don't really buy the claim that he didn't know this.

Sometimes the history you know can be described in a way that specifically changes your perspecrive on a current topic.

But I'm open to the CTs on this one. It's always fun to speculate.
