New arena will be home to Will Wade Court.

I've held the opinion that he would never come back after LSU backed away from him. But now I'm starting to think its a possibility. If he didn't want to come back, he would tell a reporter that and say definitively that he doesn't want to go back.
But may he feels a some obligation to fix things and make it right since he made such a boneheaded move while he was here.

I'm kind of thinking this is very possible.

If Wade has any pride and is as good as his fan base says, why would he come to LSU? They fired him. If he leaves NC State, I hope it is to some school that LSU fans hate. The reaction of his sycophants would be hysterical.

As I said, if he is truly as great as his worshipers believe, he can get a better job than LSU.

Part of the current "they" is the President he worked for at McNeese and the chairman of the LSU BOS who was a big donor to his program at McNeese.

Imagine calling yourself a fan of LSU basketball...yet being adamantly against the thought of hiring the guy who had the best winning % in the last 100 years of the program

Wade can resurrect the dead LSU program. Not sure he wants to come back. NC State has more institutional comittment to basketball. At LSU its third.

Let's look into the crystal ball.

In the next 5-10 years, NC state is facing the very real possibility of playing in an ACC without UNC, UVA, Fla st, Clemson, and possibly Miami and Duke.

Now, do you think that might just negatively influence the wolfpack's financial situation just a smidge???

They will most likely either be in that watered down ACC, or possibly a Sun Belt or Conference USA.

LSU on the other hand will be receiving $100 million+ per year from the SEC by that time.

Would you care to hazard a guess which situation would be better for Wade??

And I haven't even addressed the fact that Patton Oswalt's retarded little sister is no longer the AD here, and a couple of Wade's good buddies are high in the LSU food chain.
