After taxes he’s probably spent most of the money. If Cinci really wants to make an example out of him, they will drag on with legal fees.

Need a guy who can focus…despite a broken foot. Some things heal over time…

Good luck to Cincy in recruiting if their gameplan is going to be filing suit against kids who transfer

Did something happen with Sorsby that none of us know about? Pretty vague here.

I’m sure everyone here follows Cincinnati and Arizona State football very closely so there was certainly no need for you to provide any context in your post.

Exactly the point OP is making. Thank God we didn’t end up with him.

Well a lot of schools are starting to file lawsuits against players. Cincy isn’t the first.

I doubt he'll be paying a dime. Chump change for oil and gas fat cats funding Texas Tech NIL.

A bit of clarity would be nice.

Just more NIL Civil Case Law for schools to use in the near future until this stuff gets regulated.

Somebody has to jump on the grenade.

I’m sure Texas Tech was aware of this. They’ll just pay the million for him and move on. Oh well. It’s a contract. If you don’t hold up to your end and you got to pay it, is what it is. I don’t see how this paints Cinn as bad guys. Pay the buyout and move on. It’s purely the reason Demond went back to Washington was due to buyout in contract.

That kid is screwed! Cincy will follow Ole Miss's example and file in some rural town of 200 in Ohio before a UC judge!
