The guy arguing with him says he doesn’t deserve more than $10mm per year and they’re going back and forth. Taylor says his “current team” offered him way more than that so dude must be wrong

The guy says you’re doing this in front of thousands and Taylor says frick all these people

Dude tells him he’s making an arse of himself. “I’m a grown man, I can share my opinion about how I feel I was treated in New Orleans”. what a diva

I can’t find it on Twitter but the videos are on “whodatsnation” instagram

I think he is going to leave for another team.

I hope he gets the mental health treatment he needs for being offered eight figures. What an insult. What an absolute travesty.

He’s gone. Sucks but sounds like hes going to be more of a headache than he’s worth if we don’t over pay.

This is why Delane will be the pick.

Better player at 1/3 the price.

So a little tampering going on? Do we get his “current team” 3rd rounder pick?

Noo I think he means the Saints offered him way more than $10mm but he didn’t take it. Just pointing out he used current team and not Saints which felt weird

Taylor is a talented guy, but he has never been consistent. I am absolutely fine with letting him walk…..because I do think that anything over around 12 mil is an overpay.

I would MUCH rather spend whatever money that they were going to spend on him……on a G.

I agree, we need more guys with attitude like him because it’s infectious. But he isn’t worth “way more” than 10 if he isn’t a true outside corner

You’re probably right, I was just wondering with the “how I was treated in New Orleans” line. Makes it sound like he’s bitter and has an offer elsewhere.

I wonder with the team needing to spend that extra $50M, could that cause them to overpay some on bonuses

I watched the NOF show last night and they said the timeline to spend the money is actually the final day of the current league year next year. So after this season, we can re-sign our own guys this year and next prior to FA (March ‘27) and it’ll all count toward the number

You always overpay when you don’t get out ahead of these contracts. We are always late to the game in extending our guys mainly because we’ve been so cash strapped. I know the saints have been negotiating with him for the last year so i think they have a number in mind and aren’t budging. Let him walk. This is why i can see a player like Downs being the pick. Moving Sanker to Nickel possibly. We can’t overpay him.

That's good information. It would appear they plan to be active this offseason, but good to see that they can continue being creative to spread out that cap spend. Sign a target FA to a decent signing bonus, some guarantees, and a low 1st year salary. Give him a high 2nd year salary, but turn it into a roster bonus before the league year starts so you meet the cash requirements, give the player cash upfront, and spread that hit over 5 years

Sounds like the "TIkToK attitude" would be cancerous

Didn’t watch the vid, no plans to. Did watch different pods talking about the vid. Interesting how everyone can watch the same thing and come to different conclusions of what Taylor was trying to say.

Well, I would hope so.

What's the point if everyone has the same take?
