Likely going for inspection tickets more than speeding... However, the cars on that part of Stanford are way too comfortable speeding way too close to the people walking the lakes.

I've referred to Baton Rouge Beach twice in the last year and both times those people had no clue what I was talking about. They were both under 40.

The beach isn't on Stanford, it's on May Street and part of City Park.
There is a sandy walking area at the Wampold park on Stanford, but it doesn't reach the water.
39 years and you don't know where that make-out spot is?
Looks like the construction project has removed that beach.

We did it plenty of times 50 years ago when I was in High School.
IIRC the spot was somewhere near the Cow Palace.
