Looking for a nice family resorts for a family of 4, infant and 4 year old. Somewhere lowkey, that has a nice pool area. States were looking at is Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

If you’re into golf, we’ve done 2-3 nights at Ross Bridge in Birmingham a couple times. Got the obvious RTJ course on property, then a couple more about 10 minutes away at Oxmoor Valley. Very active pool area with slides, shallow end, etc. and a quieter indoor pool.
Interested in other opinions too.

Texas Hill county resorts outside of San Antonio. JW Marriott and Hyatt Regency resorts are nice, even if you never leave the property. But you have options of the river walk and Sea World if you choose to get out.

Frisco, TX will be a great spot when the Universal Kids park opens.
Gaylord Texan or Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX.
Hyatt Lost Pines outside of Austin.

Pursell Farm. Not sure how old your kids are but if they golf or shoot you'll have a blast. An hour from some great food in BHM as well. Could fly into ATL and maybe 90 minutes drive.

Grand Hotel in Fairhope? Maybe too beachy though.

The Woodlands Resort is very nice. Has several pools, a 3 story water slide and lazy river. Low key and relaxing.

Just about any if the RTJ resorts in Alabama. Have had several business meetings with family in each and family always liked and had a good time. All have great pools!

The Four Seasons at Las Colinas in Dallas is very nice with a great pool and a lot of things to do in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Hot Springs and surrounding area is a good place to go because of the lakes there and Magic Springs for kids.

This would be it for the kids. I know people that take their kids to the one in LaGrange, GA, but it looks like there are two in Texas.

One of my favorite places. Not sure there is much for little kids though.
Their sister property, the Grand Hotel in Fairhope may be a little more suited for kids

Oasis in Gulfport
0 entry splash pad with plenty of age-appropriate slides for the 4 y/o. Lazy river will be great for both (you'll want to bring your own ring for the kids), walkup pool bar if you want drinks, ice cream shop by the pool. New arcades and mini-golf (have not checked them out yet). Have heard great things about the Gulfport Aquarium.
Forgot to mention, two big downsides are if you do not get there early, you will have very limited shade options, and the water is still too cold by Memorial Day weekend (perfect around the 4th).

If it’s mainly for the kids, then Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. They have an indoor water park. The Main Street in the town is cool too.

Lost Pines Resort - Just south of Austin.
Largest Indoor Water Park in America (not just a water park, is a full Resort):
Kalahari Resort - Round Rock
